The New Photographers Workshop

with April Milani

Are you ready to take control of your art? Take the leap out of the comforts of auto mode and master manual mode?

Do you long to know how to find your focus on your lens manually?

I know that learning to shoot in full manual mode can be overwhelming and a bit scary for some. I am here to make this a fun and easy learning curve. By learning manual mode, you will have control over your camera and how you capture your subject. They will teach you to get the tack sharp image you desire as well as to helping you embrace the blur. Although this is a very technical workshop. you will have a weekly creative exercise to help you unwind and apply the lessons you have learned. This is a four week workshop that will teach you to take complete control of your camera. From the Photographic triangle to white balance, and all the setting in between. After completing this workshop you will be confident to get the photos you picture in your mind, completely in camera .

Coming in 2023

WHY USE YOUR CAMERA IN MANUAL MODE?

You might be wondering why would I buy a fancy camera with Auto Mode and choose to shoot in Manual Mode? Why go through the hassle of learning to do what my camera can already do for me?

We would like to ask you this; have you taken a photo in Auto mode to only have it blurry and yellow. Or overexposed and blue?

Well we have and know how frustrating this can be. This is why we want to help you take the leap and show you how to take control of your camera settings. We want you to feel confident to take those amazing action shots, to the low light moody images. We know you long to get creative and capture that dreamy bokeh and correct colour balance. All of this and so much more are the reasons to master your manual mode on your camera and never be lost in the dark again!
